Description for TFC R4 FAMily Duos Tournament?

The R4 FAMily Duos tournament format is unique to TFC. It is a modified version of R2 FAMily Duo but with 4 individuals.
Each team consists of 2 adults and 2 youths who are relatives from two families. The adults must be minimum 35 years old, and the youths must be 16 years or younger.
Pair up with your favourite family member like father-daughter, mother-son, aunt-nephew, or uncle-niece, and join this family to family battle.

SCHEDULE ⏱
» 8am – FULL Team Check-In
» 815am – Round Robin Starts (min. 5 matches)
» 1/2 Hour Lunch
» Play-offs check-in upon returning from lunch
» Early Afternoon – Double knockout tiered play-offs
» Be prepared to play until 530pm

» Send your tourney fee by bank transfer within 2 business days of registration
» Be sure to include your Order# in the transfer message
» If payment isn’t received on time, we’ll have to give your spot to the next team in line.

GAME PLAY ✅
» The FAMily duos can be father-daughter, mother-son, aunt-nephew, or uncle-niece from TWO families
» Match play is continuous, warm-up beforehand
» Deduce a point a minute when an opponent does not field a FULL team on the court
» Ghost service rule applied after 10 minutes without a complete team

SUBSITIUTION 🔁
» No subs permitted for TFC tournaments
» Singular medical/injury substitution will be considered case by case

PLAY-OFFS 🏐
» Multiple double knockout tiered play-offs
» Front Side – Best 2 out of 3 games per match
» Back side – Scoring may vary Depending on start time after lunch

PRIZING 🏆
» Pool/division with 8 – 16 teams – A winner & a finalist prizing in each tier
» Pool/division with less than 8 teams – A winner prizing in each tier

RAINOUT ☔️
» ‘If’ Rained Out, a notice will be posted on the TFC Players Information FaceBook Page at 730am

IMPORTANT NOTES ‼️
» Event goes drizzle or shine
» Please, bring your own sunscreen & grass volleyball
» Your portable tents must be staked down
» NO REFUND, you can find an alternate team to take over your registration
