Tournaments

We offer indoor/outdoor tournaments all year around. Our tournament formats include Reverse Coed 4’s (R4), Reverse Coed 2’s (R2), Womens 2’s (W2), Swinger 2’s (S2), Womens 6’s (W6), Mens 6’s (M6) and Co-Ed 6’s (CE6). Compare & you will see we have the lowest prices in Metro Vancouver.

Whether Indoor or Grass Tournaments, TFC Volleyball frowns on carrying subs. A tourney is a one competition of a single format against a similar number of players.  This rule is articulated in the About section of the website.

Singular medical/injury substitution will be considered on a case by case situation.

    2-day tournament from Sat 7am to 8pm & Sun 7am to 6pm. At the Veledrome, Burnaby; NOT at Bonsor Recreation Complex, Burnaby.

    Cash prizes:
    AA: Champions: CAD$900 / Finalists: CAD$450
    A: Champions: CAD$350 / Finalists: CAD$150

    ** Indicated prize money based on a full 18 team tournament. If less than 18 teams participate in the tournament, the prize money will be reduced proportionally per division. The Tournament Director may combine divisions if there are not enough registrants to structure 2 complete tiers.

    The $150 Performance Bond (part of the team fee) will be returned 1-2 week after the tourney if your team has met all the tournament, uniform, reffing, Captain's meeting, garbage clean-up, etc. requirements.

    21st annual 24 Hour R4 Tourney.

    Level: Intermediate to Advance+.  Not recommended for Recreational teams.

    VBC Veledrome:  7564 Barnett Highway, Burnaby, BC.

    Sat/Sun, Jan 2/3, 2027   8am - 8am

    6 courts, 32 teams maximum.

    YOUR BANK ETRANSFER 'MUST' BE RECEIVED WITHIN 2 CALENDAR DAYS OF YOUR ON-LINE REGISTRATION OR YOUR TEAM SPOT MAY NOT BE GUARANTEED.

    R4 format: ONLY one male & female sub permitted.  They MUST be listed on your 'advanced' roster.  You 'must' play one full set in the round robin to qualify for the double knockout play-offs.

    No food nor drinks available on-site.

    DO NOT PARK IN THE VBC STALLS CLOSEST TO THE ENTRY DOORS OR YOU WILL BE TOWED WITHOUT NOTICE.

    'Full' team check-in at 7:45am. Round robin play commences immediately.  3 tier double knockout play-offs commence late Saturday night.

    Be prepared to play until 8am Sunday morning.

    Bring your indoor volleyballs, fluids, whistles (cold season/covid-related) & own white athletic tape.

    Double knockout play-offs in all divisions.  Prizing to Winners & Finalists in 3 Divisions - gold, silver & bronze.

    20% admin fee for withdrawls.  50% of your registration fee returned if you withdraw after Dec 15, 2026.
