TFC Volleyball R2 Family Duo Tournament

Formerly known as Father-Daughter/Mother-Son

DATE – Saturday June 28, 2025
FORMAT – Reverse Coed 2’s
LOCATION – Sir Charles TUPPER Secondary – OVAL (adjacent tennis courts)
COST – $70 / team of 2

SCHEDULE ⏱
» 830am – FULL Team Check-In
» 845am – Round Robin Starts
» 1/2 Hour Lunch
» Early Afternoon – Double knockout THREE tiered play-offs
» Be prepared to play until 530pm

GAME PLAY ✅
» Age Restrictions: Adult 35+, Youth 12-16yo
» The family duo can be father-daughter, mother-son, aunt-nephew, or uncle-niece
» Match play is continuous, warm-up beforehand
» Deduce a point a minute when an opponent does not field a FULL team on the court
» Ghost service rule applied after 10 minutes without a complete team

SUBSITIUTION 🔁
» No subs permitted for TFC Volleyball tournaments
» Singular medical/injury substitution will be considered case by case

PLAY-OFFS 🏐
» Double knockout THREE tiered play-offs
» Front Side – Best 2 out of 3 games per match
» Back side – Scoring may vary depending on start time after lunch

PRIZING 🏆
» Pool/division with 8 – 16 teams – Winner & finalist prizing in each tier
» Pool/division with less than 8 teams – Winner prizing in each tier

RAINOUT ☔️
» ‘If’ Rained Out, a notice will be posted on the TFC Players Information FaceBook Page at 715am on the tournament date. No post check-in for 830am.
