The Fun Club Volleyball Association (TFC), a non-profit society, has been coordinating a variety of youth and young adult co-ed indoor and outdoor volleyball programs since 1986 in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. The Association was founded initially as a fundraising entity and then by the growth of the sport, as a competitive league, tournament, and special event alternative for participants.

The purpose of TFC is to increase participation levels by providing communities large and small with the opportunity to play the game. Programs include a variety of outdoor skill development clinics and camps, leagues, tournaments, special events, and equipment rental.

Participation levels have increased dramatically over the years. TFC began with one co-ed triples grass league in Vancouver which involved sixty people. In the new millennium between May to September over 4,000 individuals take part in TFC grass and beach reverse co-ed fours, triples, reverse doubles and mens/womens doubles leagues and tournaments throughout the province. This tremendous rate of growth is due to a number of key factors including increased media exposure, sponsorship support and the accessibility of first-class, professionally coordinated events.

TFC continues to offer weekly indoor reverse co-ed fours; mens and womens fours leagues and similar bi-weekly tournaments in Vancouver and Burnaby from September to May.

Beach volleyball leagues are facilitated from May to September on Monday - Thursday nights as well as on Sundays. Train and play is held on Fridays. Saturdays are reserved for tournaments.
